Web Stiffener
Product Details Building Systems® Web Stiffeners are designed to strengthen the webs of Joists to prevent web crippling. They come in various lengths from 5-3/4” to 15-3/4” to suit the Joist width for easy installation by the contractor. They are produced out of prime galvanized 50 ksi 54 mil steel. Web Stiffeners are used on the inside or back side of the joist in point load or extra load conditions, under walls or where point loads are requested to satisfy engineering needs.
